Workplace Services Site Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic professional individual with strong management skills and a background/experience of 3+ years in shipping & receiving warehouse management and mail processing to join our team as Workplace Services Site Manager in our West Houston, TX office.  This role involves working directly with the S/R warehouse personnel, maintaining accuracy of records, increasing productivity & revenue.  The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented with an excellent focus in customer service.  IST Management Services is the fastest growing national management company in the industry.  IST Management is a BPO Company (Business Process Outsourcing) specializing in providing solutions for the management of physical and digital information through Workplace Services, eDiscovery, and Electronic Document Management services.

Hourly Compensation: $20.00 - $20.00 USD per hrly (DOE)

 

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday   7:00 AM - 4:00 PM  

 

Location:   West Houston, TX   (Employee parking is provided and is free) 

 

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Workplace Services Site Manager is to work directly with the S/R warehouse personnel, maintaining accuracy of records, increasing productivity & revenue.  Additional responsibilities include:

 

• Manage & ensure oversight of high volume inbound shipping/receiving activities within a warehouse environment
• Manage mail operations and maintain upkeep of equipment is fully operational
• Prioritize work and deploy staff as required to ensure customer needs are met in regards to on-time delivery of services and quality of work
• Manage budget and controls expenses by developing new procedures to maximize productivity and to lower operating costs
• Ensures all work standards are met on a consistent basis
• Accurately prepare and distribute management reports to the client in a timely and consistent manner
• Manage, train, and coach employees and develops a work environment that promotes high motivation and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

The qualifications for the Workplace Services Site Manager must be a detailed, organized and process driven person with strong leadership & mentorship skills.  Additional qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• 2 years or more experience managing shipping/warehouse operations required
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written with customers and other employees - a must
• Excellent attendance and punctuality - a must
• Strong mentorship and management techniques to manage, motivate and train employees - a must
• Focus on detail and ability to critical think through to resolve problems - a must
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) required
