Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor"s degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in full-lifecycle product management and product delivery.
2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area.
Experience working in a safety, abuse-fighting, or integrity role at an enterprise software company.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Google Workspace from Google Cloud is a group of simple and secure productivity apps - Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Meet, Voice, Chat and more. They are designed to simplify work and increase the productivity of teams, with real-time collaboration and GenAI features built in. With Google Workspace, information can flow freely between devices, apps, people and teams, so great ideas never get left in the margins again. As we integrate Generative AI, we focus on user trust, policy-aligned model behavior, and proactive threat mitigation. The Gemini-powered Workspace features are helping users draft better emails, summarize lengthy docs, generate slides, analyze and augment spreadsheets, and much more.
The mission is to build cross-Workspace safety frameworks, develop advanced abuse-detection capabilities, and ensure product experiences are resilient against adversarial threats.

US: $192000 - $279000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
Assess threats to users from new technologies GenAI and design appropriate safeguards in advance.
Understand abuse that can come from new GenAI features and how to mitigate it.
Define safety and abuse prevention strategy that balances short-term needs to ship quickly and long-term goals to scale globally.
Collaborate with data science to develop a comprehensive set of metrics to measure product safety and the impact of spam and abuse on our products and users.
Work across research and engineering teams to build ML signals, techniques, and infrastructure to protect users including enterprise customers.
