Workstation Installation Technician - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Workstation Installation Technician for an on-site contract position with a Major Financial Services Company located in Milwaukee, WI.

Compensation Range:  $20.00 - $21.50 per hour based on experience and qualifications

This position will work onsite - Monday to Friday from 8-4pm CST

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented contractor to support the preparation, staging, and installation of workstation monitors. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless employee experience by delivering clean, organized, and professional installations, including precise cable management practices that contribute to both functionality and a polished workstation appearance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare, stage, and install monitors across assigned workstation areas within a newly constructed building
• Unbox, inspect, and inventory monitors and related hardware components prior to deployment
• Execute physical installation of monitors, including mounting, cabling, and alignment to workstation standards
• Ensure all installations meet quality, consistency, and ergonomic standards before sign-off
• Manage and maintain organized staging areas, including proper storage and handling of equipment
• Support asset tracking processes, including updating inventory systems as required
• Identify and escalate damaged, missing, or defective equipment
• Partner with internal teams (Facilities, IT, and Deployment Leads) to align installation schedules and priorities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment throughout deployment activities

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized processes
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency
• Proven reliability, punctuality, and accountability in a team environment
• Ability to work on-site full-time (Monday-Friday) and adhere to deployment schedules
• Ability to lift, move, and install hardware equipment (monitors, boxes, peripherals)
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and movement across building floors and staging areas
• Ability to safely handle and transport equipment throughout the facility
• Attention to Detail: Ensures every monitor installation meets defined standards without exception
• Reliability: Consistently delivers high-quality work on schedule in a fast-paced environment
• Execution Discipline: Follows repeatable processes to support large-scale deployments
• Team Collaboration: Works effectively with cross-functional teams to meet install deadlines

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience in IT hardware deployment, AV installation, or similar technical hands-on roles
