Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Workstation Support Analyst to provide hands-on technical support for desktop systems, end-user computing environments, and workstation operations within a fast-paced enterprise IT environment.
This role is ideal for a technical support professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, supporting end users, maintaining workstation hardware/software, and working across multiple technologies in a high-volume support setting.
Location: Fully Onsite – Florence, SC
What You’ll Do
• Monitor and update the IT dispatch system while managing incoming support tickets and service requests
• Provide troubleshooting, technical support, and guidance for desktop software, hardware, and end-user systems
• Configure, install, maintain, and support workstation hardware and software environments
• Ensure workstation backups, licensing compliance, and approved hardware/software standards are maintained
• Support and maintain security configurations and workstation compliance standards
• Test, troubleshoot, maintain, validate, and document application packages and workstation configurations
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, and user support guidelines
• Collaborate with internal departments and IT teams to resolve technical issues efficiently
• Support inventory management, reporting activities, replacement part ordering, and asset tracking
• Stay current on emerging workstation support technologies and best practices
• Provide on-the-spot training and support to end users as needed
• Assist with overall infrastructure support and technical operations activities when required
What You’ll Need
• 2+ years of technical operations or workstation support experience
• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR equivalent work experience
• A+ Certification required
• Strong understanding of desktop support, workstation hardware/software, and end-user computing environments
• Experience supporting desktop-based LAN systems and workstation technologies
• Familiarity with operating system imaging concepts and deployment processes
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to provide technical guidance and user training in real time
• Experience documenting technical configurations and support procedures
• Ability to recommend hardware and software solutions based on business needs
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-platform environment with occasional after-hours support needs
• Ability to routinely lift and transport items up to 30 lbs. and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
