Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the HP Service Supply Chain (SSC). In this highly visible and dynamic role, the analyst will serve as the WW Cost of Workforce lead and Strategic Workforce Planner. This individual will collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders across Customer Support (CS), Enterprise Operations, and all regions. The position involves partnering closely with SSC and CS teams on initiatives to analyze and optimize spend. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong initiative, work independently and collaboratively, and engage confidently with employees at all organizational levels. This role offers a unique opportunity to accelerate career growth through leadership of cross‑functional initiatives, application of an entrepreneurial mindset, and expansion of professional networks across HP’s CS and SC organizations. Additionally, the analyst will act as a program manager for cost‑reduction and cost‑management projects.

Responsibilities

  • PartnerwithCorporateFP&A,FunctionsFinance,andSSCleadershiptoensureaccurate,timely,andconsistentreportingofServiceSupplyChain(SSC)Spendandfinancialperformance.
  • Leadcomplexspendmanagementandcost-efficiencyinitiativesacrossmultipleSSCorganizations,functions,andgeographicregions.
  • CollaboratewithseniorleadersacrossBusiness,HR,andFinancetodevelopworkforcestrategies,optimizelaborskillsandlocationmix,andalignworkforceplanswithbudgetandbusinessobjectives.
  • Establishandmaintainworkforceplanninggovernance,includingprocesscontrols,reportingvisibility,andriskmitigationmechanismstosupporteffectiveplanexecution.
  • Analyzeworkforce,spending,andoperationaldatatoidentifytrends,uncoveranomalies,determinerootcauses,andprovideactionablebusinessinsights.
  • Anticipatecostpressuresandemergingrisks,proactivelyrecommendingopportunitiestoimproveefficiency,optimizeresources,andachievefinancialobjectives.
  • Monitorandreportprojectedandrealizedsavingsonamonthlyandquarterlybasis,providingclearupdatesandinsightstoexecutiveleadership.
  • Investigatevariancesandperformancedeviations,ensuringdataaccuracyanddrivingcorrectiveactionswhenneeded.
  • Performanalysisofinternalandexternalworkforcedatatosupportstrategicdecision-making,workforceplanning,andbusinesstransformationinitiatives.
  • Supportbothlong-termworkforceplanningandadhocbusinessrequestsbydeliveringdata-drivenrecommendationsandinsights.
  • Drivecontinuousimprovementthroughautomation,standardization,andsimplificationofworkforceplanningprocesses,reporting,andanalytics,leveragingAI-enabledsolutionswhereappropriate.



Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in strategy, planning, operations, market research, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Pay & Benefits

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional

opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United

States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related

knowledge, skills, and experience.
