The Worship Minister at DOCC will plan, prepare, and lead worship services and provide worship elements in pastoral contexts (such as weddings and funerals) in partnership with the senior pastor. This role will also identify, train, and equip worship leadership teams which are a blend of professional and volunteer musicians and vocalists. This role requires a high level of leadership and musicianship. The ideal candidate will be skilled vocally as well as on multiple instruments and must also be proficient in Planning Center for worship planning and scheduling.
The Worship Minister will also help develop and oversee worship structures in next gen areas (children and students) by training and working with the bands and vocalists who lead those gatherings.
As a part of the ministry staff, the Worship Minister will serve as a member of the Executive Team, the church's senior leadership team.
Seminary degree preferred. A minimum of five years experience in a large, multi-service church context required. Salary range is commensurate with experience and education.
