Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Opportunity – Scottsbluff, Nebraska

About the Position

An established, physician-led regional healthcare system in western Nebraska is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its growing Wound Care Clinic. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving healing outcomes and enhancing patients' quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate patients through comprehensive histories and physical examinations
  • Assess and treat acute and chronic wounds using evidence-based practices
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing wound management
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
  • Prescribe medications and therapies within your scope of practice
  • Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and families on wound prevention, treatment, and follow-up care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant program
  • Current national board certification
  • Eligible for or licensed as an APRN or PA in the State of Nebraska
  • Previous wound care or relevant clinical experience is preferred, but motivated candidates with applicable experience are encouraged to apply
