This role is ideal for a clinical leader who enjoys improving patient outcomes through education, evidence-based practice, and staff development.Schedule

• Day shift
• 5 days per week
• 8 hour shifts
• 13-week contract w| opportunites to extend

Wound Care Nurse EducatorResponsibilities

• Develop and deliver wound care education programs for nursing staff
• Provide bedside coaching and clinical support related to wound prevention and treatment
• Assist with orientation and competency validation for nursing staff
• Promote evidence-based wound care practices throughout the organization
• Collaborate with nursing leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to skin integrity and pressure injury prevention
• Serve as the clinical resource for wound care education and best practices
• Maintain current knowledge of wound care standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements

Wound Care Nurse EducatorQualifications

• Active New York State RN license
• MSN required
• Minimum of three years of recent wound care nursing experience required
• Previous educator, staff development, clinical instruction, or preceptor experience preferred
• Wound care certification (WCC, CWCN, CWON, or equivalent) strongly preferred
• BLS required
• Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills

Compensation & Benefits

• $86.65–$89.66 per hour, based on experience
