This role is ideal for a clinical leader who enjoys improving patient outcomes through education, evidence-based practice, and staff development.Schedule
Day shift
5 days per week

Wound Care Nurse EducatorResponsibilities
Develop and deliver wound care education programs for nursing staff
Provide bedside coaching and clinical support related to wound prevention and treatment
Assist with orientation and competency validation for nursing staff
Promote evidence-based wound care practices throughout the organization
Collaborate with nursing leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to skin integrity and pressure injury prevention
Serve as the clinical resource for wound care education and best practices
Maintain current knowledge of wound care standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Wound Care Nurse EducatorQualifications
Active New York State RN license
MSN required
Minimum of three years of recent wound care nursing experience required
Previous educator, staff development, clinical instruction, or preceptor experience preferred
Wound care certification (WCC, CWCN, CWON, or equivalent) strongly preferred
BLS required
Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills
Compensation & Benefits
$86.65–$89.66 per hour, based on experience
