Wound Care - Nurse Practitioner

The Adena Medical Group is seeking a full-time CNP (Certified Nurse Practitioner) to join the Wound Care team working in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. The selected candidate will be a qualified CNP who wants to join a join a dynamic and collaborative practice!

As a Wound Care CNP (Certified Nurse Practitioner), you will evaluate and treat adult wound care patients, both outpatient and inpatient. In the outpatient setting, you will assist in the development of policies and procedures, as well as assist with staff and patient education. Inpatient responsibilities include consulting and developing plans of care for inpatients, supervising and directing clinical staff in the use of wound care modalities, debridement of wounds and supervision of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.

• Office Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; No call
• Setting: Outpatient/Inpatient at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe, OH
• Locations: Primarily in Chillicothe and potential for coverage, as needed, at Pike Medical Center in Waverly
• Physicians in Clinic: 2
• Patients per Day: 25
• EMR: Epic

Qualifications

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner

• New grads will be considered with wound care background and/or experience

• Completion of a 40-hour Hyperbaric course required upon hire.

• Wound Care Certification, preferred; will be required within 2 years of hire, if not already certified.

This role is a full-time (40-hours/week) employed CNP within the multispecialty Adena Medical Group, offering a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefitspackage including, but not limited to:

• Sign-on Bonus: $10,000 (up to $30,000 based on experience)

• 6 weeks paid time away; prorated for new providers that start after January 1^st.
