You will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with acute and chronic wounds, including those requiring hyperbaric oxygen therapy. This role offers both autonomy and team collaboration within a supportive, well-established wound care program.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform independent clinical assessments of acute and chronic wounds.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Perform hands-on procedures and advanced wound care interventions.
• Manage systemic conditions contributing to chronic wounds.
• Provide patient and family education to promote healing and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with experienced nursing staff and physicians to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Provide inpatient wound consultations as needed.

• Healogics-managed outpatient wound and hyperbaric center.
• Two on-site hyperbaric chambers.
• Inpatient wound consult opportunities.
• EMR: Heal.
• Monday-Friday clinical schedule (no weekend or call coverage).
• Comprehensive wound care training provided.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner (APRN) license in good standing.
• Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• CWOCN certification preferred but not required.
