Korzen Health, in collaboration with Healogics, is actively recruiting a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a specialized, part-time position within our Post-Acute Care program. This procedure-based role focuses exclusively on providing high-quality wound care to adult and geriatric patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. Benefiting from a fully established patient base at this location, the incoming provider will not be responsible for securing new contracts or business development.
Clinical Scope and Responsibilities
- Flexible Schedule: Part-time availability, ranging from 1 to 2 weekdays per week.
- Favorable Hours: Strictly daytime coverage with no nights, no weekends, and no on-call responsibilities.
- Perform comprehensive wound care management, including dressing changes and debridements.
- Execute minor clinical procedures (e.g., suturing, incision and drainage, biopsies, and mechanical debridement).
- Document patient encounters utilizing the EPIC/iHEAL Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered State License and DEA License.
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- A minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience as an NP.
- Demonstrated procedural competency (e.g., simple suturing, I&D).
- Preferred: Prior experience in Post-Acute Care or specialized procedural settings.
