Come join us!  Since 1960, D’Youville Life & Wellness Community has provided Greater Lowell and surrounding communities with Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care earning the respect of its peers and the trust of the community at large.  We are a 208-bed facility with 84-bed Special Care Dementia Unit.

We are seeking a Wound Care Nurse - RN - Registered Nurse - Part-Time.

• $39 to $42.90 per hour.
• 24 hours per week.

Wound Care Nurse - Registered Nurse - RN Qualifications:

• Current licensure in the State of MA as a Registered Nurse - RN.
• Minimum of 2 years of Wound Care experience in a Nursing Home.
• Wound Care Certification preferred.

Wound Care Nurse -Registered Nurse - RN - Registered NurseJob Summary:

• Ensure completion of skin assessments assigned to charge nurses.
• Review of admission skin assessments.
• Inform necessary departments of new or worsening skin issues. 
• Ensure necessary referrals are made.
• Rounding with wound care specialist.
• Ensure high risk residents have interventions/preventative measures in place.
• Correspond with DME suppliers to ensure equipment and supplies are ordered and delivered and pick-up timely.
• Ensure that acute care plans are completed according to policy.
• Ensure, assess and monitor appropriate treatments are in place.
