Job Title: Registered Nurse - Wound Care

Location: Shiprock, New Mexico 87420

Employment Type: Full-time, 26-week contract

Shift: 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights (36/48-hour rotation)

Salary: $59/hr

A reputable healthcare facility located in Shiprock, NM, dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients is looking for a Wound Care RN with expertise in wound care to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care treatments for patients with acute and chronic wounds.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to promote wound healing and prevent complications.
• Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques, dressing changes, and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in wound care management.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of New Mexico
• BLS certification required
• Current Wound Care Certification from an Accredited Wound Care Certification Course
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in professional nursing care
• Proficiency in various wound and ostomy treatments
• Background in a clinic setting with a focus on adult care and chronic medical conditions
• Ability to recognize and respond promptly to signs of emergency situations
