Working Title Wrangler Kitchen Student Server Position Status Part Time Department President General Summary

Odessa College is seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Wrangler Kitchen Server to support front-of-house operations within Wrangler Kitchen and O'Cuisine. This student position plays an important role in creating a welcoming dining experience for students, employees, campus guests, and community members.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, provides excellent customer service, and thrives in an active, team-oriented environment.

Specific Position Duties

Greet and assist students, employees, guests, and community customers

Provide friendly and professional customer service

Take customer orders accurately and answer basic menu questions

Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process transactions

Serve and package food and beverages according to established standards

Assist with preparing dining and service areas before opening

Restock beverages, condiments, utensils, napkins, and other service items

Maintain clean tables, counters, beverage stations, and customer areas

Assist with O'Cuisine dining service and special events as needed

Communicate customer requests and order information effectively with kitchen staff

Follow food safety, sanitation, and customer service standards

Assist with opening and closing procedures

Work collaboratively with Wrangler Kitchen and Culinary teams

Minimum Qualifications

Part-time hours, up to 19 hours per week. Schedule may include mornings, lunch periods, afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends depending on operations and events. Must have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. Previous restaurant or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
