Lead the Wrap Manufacturing Value Stream at Plant 3
Picture your day starting on the floor of Plant 3. You open with a quick safety huddle, walk the Gemba, and scan the SQDC board. Takt time, OEE, and delivery status are top of mind as you coach team leads, align schedules, and remove obstacles so the wrap manufacturing value stream runs smoothly from first-piece approval to final audit.
What Your Day Looks Like
Guide a high-performing team through daily tier meetings, clarifying priorities and ensuring safe, reliable output that meets customer demand.
Oversee staffing, training, cross-training, and performance coaching; build capability and maintain a positive, accountable workplace.
Direct end-to-end production across wrap lines, metal encapsulation, material handling, curing, and finishing—owning standardized work, visual controls, and error-proofing.
Collaborate closely with Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to optimize flow, minimize downtime, and meet delivery commitments.
Monitor run rates, throughput, downtime, scrap, and takt adherence; make in-shift adjustments to protect schedule attainment.
Relentless Improvement
Use Lean tools—5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, Kanban, TPM, and Poka‑Yoke—to eliminate waste, increase efficiency, and improve material yield.
Analyze bottlenecks with data and lead structured problem solving (5 Why, Fishbone, A3) to deliver sustained results.
Champion cost reduction, resource optimization, and ROI-backed capital improvements.
Safety, Environment, and Quality
Set the standard for safety: enforce PPE, LOTO, machine guarding, and chemical handling; conduct safety walks, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
Uphold ISO 14001 practices including waste management, emissions control, and hazardous materials handling; support ergonomic and 5S excellence.
Operate to IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements; maintain control plans, inspection standards, traceability, and swift responses to nonconformances, CAPAs, SCARs, deviations, and customer feedback.
Verify first-piece approvals, in-process checks, and final audits; track scrap, rework, dimensional accuracy, metal wrap integrity, and bonding performance.
