As the Support Counselor, you will provide family-centered mental health counseling, support, crisis intervention, and case management services for youth and their families. Counselors are members of a multi-disciplinary team and provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive services in the community at times and locations convenient to the family.
ABOUT WRAPAROUND
Senecas Wraparound Program in Santa Clara County provides culturally-sensitive, highly-coordinated intensive services to youth and families with complex and enduring needs. Through a team and strengths-based approach, the mental health supports focus on enhancing safety, placement stability, and well-being. Wraparound works in close partnership with the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS), Juvenile Probation, Behavioral Health and Post-Adoption services to provide outcome-oriented services aimed to keep youth in their homes and community. Wraparound serves racially and ethnically diverse youth and families regardless of, but not limited to, their socio-economic circumstance, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and religion.

Bachelor's degree OR
Associate degree or equivalent + 1 year of applicable experience OR
High School Diploma/GED + 2 years of applicable experience
Applicable experience can include paid or unpaid experience working with youth or families or working in the social services field.
At least 21 years of age.
TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
Valid drivers license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies' insurance policy.

Actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role
