Job Summary
The School District of Mayville is seeking a Head Varsity Wrestling Coach for the 2026-27 season. Successful candidates shall demonstrate a passion for leading student athletes in an effort to obtain exceptional skill and an appreciation for discipline, accountability, sportsmanship and teamwork.

Responsibilities
Cooperate with all lower level coaches and community organizations in athlete development and the implementation of high program expectations. Promote teamwork, morale, sportsmanship, respect, academic excellence and a strict adherence to the co-curricular code. Develop and implement practice plans, training regimens and match strategies. Encourage students to be well-rounded athletes who strive to represent their school at the highest level. Perform any other duties related to your position as directed by the WIAA, Wisconsin Flyway Conference, Wisconsin Wrestling Coaches Association, and the Mayville School District.
Preferred Qualifications
Successful candidates are preferred to have had prior coaching experience at the high school level (but not necessary), and possess strong leadership skills.
