This is an opportunity to help shape how writing works within a modern in-house team, setting a high bar for craft, clarity and creativity.

The ideal candidate is idea-driven, AI-forward and relentlessly collaborative — able to move fluidly from blank page to fully realized work, all while elevating the thinking of everyone around them.

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications or English.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years writing experience in a newsroom or agency setting; Five years of editing experience in a newsroom or agency setting or comparable environment, required. Experience working with a project management software tool, preferred.

Excellent oral communication skills. Strong skills in managing time , prioritizing, organizing, researching and problem-solving. Ability to adhere to fixed deadlines with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Ability to manage and route multiple projects through a team of individuals, including the C-suite Ability to work with colleagues in a wide range of disciplines. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to proof and edit layouts to ensure that format, organization, alignment and spacing of copy and graphics are consistent and adhere to approved content and established standards. Must maintain a strong, consistent and professional demeanor at all times.
What You'll Do:

What this role will do

  • Lead with ideas. Bring briefs to life by transforming them into fully realized campaign platforms and narratives
  • Write across the full journey. Create and refine high-impact content across channels —campaign, digital, social, print — with consistency and craft
  • Think in systems, not silos. Create cohesive content that connects across touchpoints and the broader brand experience
  • Partner deeply with design. Co-create ideas where copy and visuals are inseparable, elevating both
  • Use AI as a multiplier. Leverage it to accelerate:
    • ideation and exploration
    • research and synthesis
    • drafting and iteration
  • Stay ahead of the curve. Track, interpret and apply emerging marketing, cultural and content trends to keep work fresh, relevant and competitive
  • Bring a strategist’s lens. Ensure every piece ladders up to audience insight, brand voice and business intent
  • Elevate the work and the process. Help refine workflows, challenge assumptions and push for smarter, stronger creative
  • Shape culture. Contribute to an environment built on curiosity, experimentation, candor and shared ownership

What we’re looking for

  • A conceptual thinker and skilled writer-editor who can move seamlessly from big idea to polished execution
  • Experience in agency, brand, or marketing environments where both speed and quality matter
  • A collaborator who thrives in creative dialogue, with people and with AI, and uses both to push ideas further
  • An agile thinker who can move between strategy, concept iteration and execution without losing momentum
  • A creative who translates client feedback into actionable creative revisions, partnering with teams to refine and elevate concepts

How AI fits into this role

  • The role requires comfort experimenting with AI tools to:
    • expand creative directions
    • unlock efficiency without sacrificing quality
    • strengthen strategic thinking
    • explore creative directions
