We have an immediate opening for an Avionics Engineer with our client in CA who is a leading supplier of space products and has a growing presence in the US Aircraft industry specializing in galleys design, Mechanical Systems, and Freighter conversions in CATIA, also to provide engineering, project development and technical consulting services to the aerospace industry. This is a remote position.

Summary
Coordinates, manages, oversees and ensures activities related to the success of the avionics engineering group. Facilitates interdepartmental cohesiveness between and including avionics engineering, certification and supply chain; overseeing the activities of other companies, vendors and individuals by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Summary of Education, Experience & Certification
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering and a minimum of 15 years industry experience including experience in aircraft avionics design, installation, integration and certification; or a Master's degree (M. S.) or equivalent; and 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
