8th Avenue Food & Provisions is a growing organization made up of businesses that produce and sell quality products including peanut butter, granola, and fruit and nut trail mixes to retail, foodservice and ingredient customers. The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings’ private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. (“THL”), a private equity firm.
Location Description:The Troy, Alabama plant produces peanut butter, with annual production of approximately 78 million pounds. The site supports a team of more than 130 manufacturing and support employees.

Responsibilities:Position Summary:
The WSR / Forklift Operator position ensures that the roasting, blanching, and sorting processes deliver an on time, safe, cost effective, and quality product to support the mission and vision of the Golden Boy Nut Corporation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Before startup check all equipment and work areas to ensure safety and sanitation conditions are correct and ready to use.
· Checks for quality and cleanliness of raw materials.
· Unloads and receives truckload, LTL, UPS and airfreight shipments. Loads export containers by mechanical or hand method. Ensures good production distribution for product protection and cube maximization.
· Rotates materials and finished product (FIFO). Utilizes good storage and stacking practices to attain maximum storage utilization. Uses JDE system for all receiving and shipping transactions to include warehouse moves. Creates pallet labels for each resource and places label on each pallet. Completes all
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Required:
· Must be willing to work weekends, 12-hour shifts, holidays, and overtime
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
· High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
· Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
· Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred
Physical Requirements: Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:
· Must be able to balance, bend, crouch, kneel, and stoop for 4+ hour per shift
· Must be able to stand or walk for up to 12 hours per shift
· Must be able to reach above shoulders for 4+ hours per shift
· Must be able to climb/work off ladder for 1+ hours per shift
· Must be able to work in a dusty environment, high heat, or humidity for 8+ hours per shift
