The Enterprise Director of Quality at WVU Health System plays a pivotal role in developing and executing a vision for world-class quality and safety. This leadership position is responsible for planning and overseeing the implementation of key clinical quality and
safety initiatives, collaborating with leadership teams, and fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization. The Enterprise Director of Quality will drive continuous improvement, establish reporting structures, and ensure consistent oversight to achieve excellence in quality and safety standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field.
Certification in Healthcare Quality (e.g., CPHQ).
EXPERIENCE:
Seven or more years of progressive experience in healthcare quality and safety management.
Experience in strategic planning and leadership development.
Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.

Lead or facilitate root cause analysis investigations for significant quality and safety incidents.
Implement corrective and preventive actions based on findings.
Patient Feedback and Satisfaction:
Gather and analyze patient feedback to identify areas for improvement in patient care and satisfaction.
Collaborate with patient advocacy teams to address concerns.
Collaborative Partnerships:
Foster collaborative relationships with clinical departments, quality improvement teams, and other stakeholders.
Coordinate efforts to achieve quality and safety goals.

Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in healthcare quality and safety.
Promote a culture of continuous learning among quality leaders and staff.
Communication and Reporting:
Communicate regularly with Executive Leadership and the Board on quality and safety performance.
Prepare and present reports highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
