This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

We are seeking an experienced builder to drive the partner go-to-market strategy for Amazon Connect Health and the broader AWS Healthcare AI portfolio, focused on Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) customers. This role will identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage strategic partner relationships across healthcare consulting firms, health-tech ISVs, system integrators, and specialized HCLS delivery partners to accelerate partner-originated revenue and customer adoption. You will serve as a subject matter expert at the intersection of AI-powered healthcare solutions and the AWS partner community, working cross-functionally with product, engineering, solutions architecture, healthcare compliance, and field sales to deliver measurable business outcomes in a highly regulated industry. You will build the HCLS partner motion from the ground up, establishing the foundation for how AWS scales its healthcare AI portfolio through partners.

Key job responsibilities

Strategy and Partner Management

  • Define and execute partner BD strategy for Amazon Connect Health that complements the product roadmap and addresses HCLS-specific regulatory, compliance, and interoperability requirements, with limited oversight
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic HCLS consulting firms, health-tech ISVs, system integrators, and specialized delivery partners to accelerate customer adoption
  • Manage the full lifecycle of complex, cross-functional partner relationships delivering outcomes with cross-organizational impact in a regulated industry
  • Develop and maintain the partner engagement model - enablement, co-sell motions, and joint GTM plays specific to HCLS verticals

Go-to-Market Execution

  • Own partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline targets for Connect Health
  • Define and run scalable partner enablement programs across geos
  • Coordinate with field teams on joint customer engagements, proof-of-concept motions, and regulatory compliance reviews

Product & Market Expertise

  • Serve as the partner-facing subject matter expert on Connect Health capabilities
  • Maintain cross-product fluency across the broader AWS Healthcare AI portfolio to position integrated solutions and identify cross-sell opportunities for partners
  • Translate partner and customer feedback into actionable insights to inform roadmap decisions

Communication & Leadership

  • Communicate partner business opportunities, results, and strategic recommendations
  • Author and contribute to strategic documents with healthcare-specific market insights and partner analysis
  • Invest in recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and developing team members

About the Company

A

Amazon.com Inc

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
