Description
We are seeking a Receiving X-Ray Associate to support receiving and inspection activities within an electronics manufacturing environment.
This is a repetitive, detail-oriented position involving the receiving and X-raying of incoming parts and materials. The ideal candidate must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
The position will also support general receiving, inventory, and material handling activities as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive incoming parts, materials, and electronic components
- Perform X-ray inspection of incoming items
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and contents against receiving documentation
- Accurately follow established inspection and receiving procedures
- Identify and report damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming materials
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
- Support inventory control and material tracking
- Label, stage, and move materials within the receiving area
- Communicate discrepancies to supervisors, Quality, and other appropriate departments
- Follow quality, ESD, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with additional receiving and material handling activities as needed
Qualifications
- Previous receiving, warehouse, inspection, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail required
- Must be comfortable performing repetitive receiving and X-ray inspection tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to accurately verify part numbers, quantities, labels, and documentation
- Comfortable learning and operating X-ray/inspection equipment; training will be provided
- Basic computer and data-entry skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and work instructions
- Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent accuracy
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
Additional Requirements
- Background check required
- Drug screening required, including THC
- Temp-to-Perm opportunity
- Onsite position in Seymour, CT
- No remote work available
