    Job Title: X-Ray Operator - Radiology

    Tasks and Responsibilities:

    As a dedicated X-Ray Operator in our Radiology department, you will play a critical role in our healthcare facility. Your primary responsibilities will include:

    • Performing Diagnostic Imaging: Conducting X-ray examinations on patients as per physician orders, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
    • Patient Care: Providing compassionate care and maintaining patient comfort throughout the imaging process, explaining procedures, and addressing patient concerns.
    • Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring the proper functioning and safety of X-ray equipment, reporting any issues promptly, and following maintenance protocols.
    • Radiation Safety: Adhering to radiation safety guidelines and maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff, and yourself.
    • Documentation: Accurate and timely documentation of patient information, procedure details, and any relevant observations in medical records.
    • Collaboration: Collaborating with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and diagnostic accuracy.
    • Compliance: Complying with all healthcare regulations, including patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.

    Requirements:

    To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Certification: Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or equivalent certification.
    • Experience: Previous experience as an X-Ray Operator preferred.

    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and associated software.
    • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.

    Certification Requirements:

    • Must hold a valid Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or equivalent certification.
    • Current BLS Certification BH Standard

    State License Requirements:

    • Valid state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist.

    Additional License Requirements:
