Join us and help change the future of healthcare for the better.The Radiologic Technologist (XRT) position is primarily responsible for independently performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist clinicians in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. You'll help patients through the imaging process and work cross-functionally to support your team with other tasks that expand your knowledge and experience to keep our clinic running smoothly. We are looking for someone with a primary availability of weekends, and some additional flexibility for weekdays and holidays. WHAT YOU'LL DOPrepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging using a mobile/portable x-ray machine; explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staffPrepare images for reading by RadiologistAssist with Medical Assistants and perform front desk duties to ensure optimal patient flowAttend staff and departmental meetingsComplete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol TestsPropose improvements to processes and workflowsWork autonomously within established procedures and practices.
