Job Description
WCS Healthcare is partnering with a well-established Orthopedic Medical Group seeking a dedicated and skilled X-Ray Technologist to join their growing team. This is a full-time opportunity for a motivated imaging professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic environment while providing exceptional patient care.
This position will float between the group's offices located in Trumbull, Shelton, Fairfield, and Westport, CT. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling between locations as needed.
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday
- 8:00 AM-5:30 PM
- No weekends
- Will Float Between Trumbull, Shelton, Fairfield and Westport
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
- Position patients appropriately to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment in accordance with established protocols.
- Review physician orders and verify patient information.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Follow radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and patients to deliver outstanding care.
- Travel between practice locations in Trumbull, Shelton, Fairfield, and Westport as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT Certification required.
- Connecticut Radiographer License required.
- Previous orthopedic or outpatient imaging experience preferred.
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to float between locations.
