X-Ray Technician

The X-Ray Technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and high imaging quality. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and works well in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to physician orders
• Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging
• Maintain high-quality imaging standards
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Document procedures accurately in EMR/PACS
• Assist with patient flow and scheduling as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms
• Communicate professionally with providers, staff, and patients

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• Active Illinois radiology license required
• BLS certification preferred
• Minimum [1–2] years experience preferred
• Experience in outpatient or clinic setting is a plus
• Strong patient care and communication skills
