X-Ray Technician (Part-Time)

 

Manhattan, NY | On-Site | $50-$55 per Hour

The IMA Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technician to join our team in Manhattan. This part-time, on-site position offers a daytime schedule of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, approximately two days per week. While the current need is for Mondays and Tuesdays, days may vary based on business needs.

 

In this role, you will perform diagnostic X-ray examinations and support physicians by providing high-quality imaging services in a professional healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment while following all safety protocols.
  • Ensure patient comfort and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support medical evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist with applicable certification/licensure.
  • Completion of clinical externship training.
  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.

Schedule:

  • Part-time, approximately 2 days per week
  • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Current need is Mondays and Tuesdays; schedule flexibility may be required
