Location: New York City, NY
Contract Duration: 12 Weeks
Shift Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 5x8 Day Shifts

Compensation:

  • $2,800 – $3,210 per week (based on experience)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety, produce accurate diagnostic images, and maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility standards. Strong technical ability, professionalism, and a collaborative approach to patient care are essential for success in this role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining exams and properly positioning patients
  • Operate radiologic imaging equipment to produce clear, high-quality diagnostic images
  • Adjust imaging settings, exposure factors, and equipment controls as needed
  • Apply radiation safety protocols and infection control standards to ensure patient and staff safety
  • Review and evaluate radiographs for image quality and diagnostic accuracy
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and exam verification
  • Perform routine equipment checks and assist with troubleshooting when required
  • Ensure proper inventory management of radiology supplies and equipment readiness
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment in accordance with facility policies
  • Participate in continuing education and maintain required certifications and CME credits
  • Complete annual age-specific competency requirements
  • Support departmental operations and perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.) required
  • ARRT Certification required
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a patient-focused approach
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment

  • Prior experience is not required; recent graduates are welcome to apply
  • Strong organizational and planning skills are preferred
