Job Title: X-Ray Technician / Radiologic Technologist

Location: New York, NY
Job Type: Contract (2 Months)
Schedule: 5 Days per Week | 37.5 Hours/Week | 8-Hour Shifts

We are seeking an ARRT-certified X-Ray Technician / Radiologic Technologist for an immediate contract opportunity. This role is ideal for recent graduates and professionals with up to 2 years of experience who are looking to build hands-on experience in a supportive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the examination process
• Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate radiologic imaging equipment according to established standards
• Ensure patient safety and minimize radiation exposure using proper shielding techniques
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
• Accurately document patient information and completed examinations
• Assist with equipment maintenance and report operational issues as needed
• Monitor radiology supplies and support department operations
• Deliver excellent patient care and maintain professional communication

Requirements:

• ARRT Certification (Required)
• Valid New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.) License (Required)
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
• 0–2 years of experience accepted
• Strong diagnostic imaging and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English (Speaking, Reading, and Writing)
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and professionalism
