X-Ray Technician | Brooklyn, NY

Location: Brooklyn, New York
Assignment Length: Contract Assignment
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 37.5 Hours Weekly

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while ensuring patient safety, radiation protection, and compliance with healthcare standards.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray experience required
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.) required
• ARRT Certification required
• AHA BLS Certification required
• Strong communication and patient care skills required

Key Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic X-Ray imaging procedures accurately and safely
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Operate radiologic imaging equipment and maintain image quality
• Follow radiation safety and infection control standards
• Maintain accurate patient records and exam documentation
• Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions as needed
• Maintain radiology supply inventory and equipment readiness
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
