    Job Title: X-Ray Technologist
    Location:
    Brunswick, GA
    Schedule Options:

    • Monday – Thursday | 8:30 PM – 7:30 AM
    • Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

    Pay Range: $24.26 – $36.29 per hour (based on experience)
    Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

    Job Overview

    We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) to join a collaborative imaging team in Brunswick, Georgia. This position is ideal for a technologist who is passionate about patient care, produces high-quality diagnostic images, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

    The X-Ray Technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensure patient safety, maintain imaging quality standards, and work closely with physicians and clinical staff to support timely and accurate diagnoses.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and established department protocols.
    • Position patients appropriately and operate imaging equipment safely to obtain high-quality images.
    • Explain procedures to patients and provide compassionate care throughout the imaging process.
    • Verify patient identity, review imaging orders, and obtain relevant medical history.
    • Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards, infection prevention protocols, and HIPAA regulations.
    • Accurately document procedures, patient information, and required billing charges.
    • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
    • Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to department leadership.
    • Maintain competency and complete required continuing education and department training requirements.
    • Assist with patient transport and departmental workflow as needed.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

    Experience

    • One to two years of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.

    Licensure & Certifications

    • ARRT Certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) required within 12 months of hire.
    • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

    Skills & Knowledge

    • Strong radiographic imaging and patient positioning skills.
    • Knowledge of radiation safety principles and imaging best practices.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with medical terminology.
