X-ray Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Expected working hours: 36 hrs.
• Shift: Nights
• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations for emergency and outpatient patients
• Obtain high-quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Position patients accurately and follow imaging protocols
• Operate radiographic equipment and maintain image quality standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff
• Assist with urgent imaging needs in the ED environment
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety and department policies
• Document procedures accurately within the imaging system

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• ARRT Certification (Radiography)
• Active Radiologic Technologist License (as applicable)
• BLS Certification
• Recent X-Ray / Radiology experience
• Emergency Department or acute care experience preferred
• New free-standing Emergency Department
• 16 exam/treatment bays
• 200 inpatient beds within the healthcare system
• On-site laboratory services
• Fast-paced ED imaging environment
