**Description** **Radiologic Technologist - Family Medicine (Per Diem)** **PeaceHealth Camas Clinic - Camas, Washington** **Variable 8-hour weekday shifts** **Compensation:** $42.62 -$60.17/hour (DOE) **Differential: Additional 15% in lieu of benefits** **?? A Flexible Role for Techs Who Like to Stay Busy** If you're an experienced X-ray Tech who enjoys working independently, likes variety in your day, and values having more control over your schedule, this per diem role at PeaceHealth Camas Clinic may be a great match. Our Family Medicine clinic is fast-paced, people-focused, and known for its welcoming team. You'll have plenty to do, steady patient flow, and the support of a care team that truly appreciates your skills. **What You'll Do** You'll handle: + Getting exam rooms and equipment ready + Reviewing patient history and previous imaging + Performing standard X-ray exams with safe, accurate positioning + Communicating clearly and kindly with patients + Adapting exams as needed based on patient condition + Following radiation safety practices (including ALARA) + Checking pregnancy status when appropriate + Performing portable and occasional surgical X-rays + Staying organized and documenting exams + Assisting with general patient care tasks + Supporting students or new team members as needed **Who Thrives in This Position** This role is ideal if you: + Enjoy working independently + Like staying busy + Prefer an outpatient environment + Appreciate flexibility in your schedule + Like having weekends off + Want a team that is supportive, inclusive, and collaborative This position is **not** recommended for new graduates. **What You Bring** **Education** + Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program **Experience** + 1+ year of experience preferred + Independent practice experience encouraged + Ability to work with different patient ages + Venipuncture skills + Experience with PACS/RIS (ImageCast/CareCast preferred) **Credentials** + Washington State Radiologic Technologist license + ARRT certification in Radiography + BLS at time of hire **Skills** + Clear, respectful communication + Strong organization and multitasking + Comfort using office and imaging equipment **Why PeaceHealth?** We care for our caregivers as whole people-physically, emotionally, socially, financially, and spiritually. **Per diem caregivers receive:** + Mental health and wellness resources + 403(b) retirement plan (caregiver contributions) + 15% differential in lieu of traditional benefits + A culture of belonging where everyone is valued **Ready to Learn More?** If this sounds like a fit, I'd love to connect.
