We are a patient-focused outpatient imaging center committed to providing exceptional diagnostic imaging services in a professional, compassionate, and efficient environment. We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable X-Ray Technologist to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The X-Ray Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the exam process and answering questions.
Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
Operate and maintain radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Verify patient information and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional imaging environment.
Assist with quality assurance and departmental initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT (R) certification required.
Current Texas Medical Board MRT certification required.
Current BLS certification preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of radiography experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
