We are a patient-focused outpatient imaging center committed to providing exceptional diagnostic imaging services in a professional, compassionate, and efficient environment. We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable X-Ray Technologist to join our growing team.


Position Summary


The X-Ray Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient setting.


Responsibilities


  • Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the exam process and answering questions.
  • Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify patient information and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional imaging environment.
  • Assist with quality assurance and departmental initiatives as needed.
Qualifications


  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT (R) certification required.
  • Current Texas Medical Board MRT certification required.
  • Current BLS certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of radiography experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
