Job Title: X-Ray Technologist

Location: Brooklyn, NY, United States
Job Type: Contract
Shift: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Duration: Approximately 13 Weeks
Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week


Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a licensed X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a hospital radiology department. The technologist will provide high-quality radiographs while maintaining patient safety, radiation protection, and compliance with hospital protocols.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures
  • Position patients accurately to obtain optimal image quality
  • Operate and maintain radiology imaging equipment
  • Follow radiation safety and infection control standards
  • Document imaging procedures and maintain patient records
  • Assist physicians and healthcare teams with diagnostic imaging needs
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms
  • Adhere to departmental and hospital policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience
  • Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.)
  • ARRT Certification required
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
  • BLS (AHA) Certification required
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills
