Yard Associate

Flowly Solutions is expanding, and we are actively seeking an energetic Yard Associate to join our outdoor operations team. We need a driven, hands-on individual who excels in an active, open-air setting and is committed to delivering quality results from the get-go. As a crucial member of our lot team, you will drive our daily inventory movement, guaranteeing that heavy materials and customer orders are handled securely and efficiently across our property.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pull, stage, and secure customer orders or outbound loads to ensure complete order fulfillment.
• Receive incoming delivery flatbeds, inspect arriving goods for damage, and distribute products to their proper yard storage bays.
• Navigate inventory safely throughout the outdoor lot utilizing heavy machinery, such as sit-down forklifts and lumber carts.
• Participate in routine yard audits and stock checks to help maintain absolute inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate seamlessly with the yard crew and dispatch team to hit our daily turnaround and service targets.
• Upkeep a hazard-free, tidy outdoor work environment while rigorously following all company safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Background in outdoor building materials, lumber yard operations, construction site logistics, or heavy material handling.
• Familiarity with operating outdoor lifting equipment (like heavy-duty forklifts); we provide on-the-job training and certification for the right candidate.
• Sharp attention to detail when reviewing load manifests, yard maps, and product dimensions.
• Clear verbal communication skills with the ability to take direction and pivot tasks dynamically.
• Punctual, steadfast work ethic with reliable transportation to our yard location.
• Robust physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, remain on your feet for extended shifts, and safely maneuver up to 50 pounds.
