Yard Associate/Forklift Operator

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Yard Associate / Forklift Operator to assist with daily warehouse and yard operations at a large 11-acre facility. This is a hands-on position that involves forklift operation, order pulling, material handling, inventory, and general yard maintenance. Give us a call at 801-613-9628 for immediate consideration!!

Location: West Jordan, UT

Schedule: Monday-Friday (some Saturdays)

Hours: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Overtime opportunities are available based on workload

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials throughout the yard
• Pull and prepare customer orders accurately using an RF scanner
• Cut pipe and other materials to required measurements
• Accurately use a tape measure and saw
• Operate basic hand and power tools
• Perform inventory counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory
• Load and unload trucks and organize materials in designated areas
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard
• Perform general yard cleanup and other physical duties as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures and equipment guidelines

Requirements

• Forklift certification and previous forklift experience required
• Experience with RF scanners preferred
• Comfortable using saws, tape measures, hand tools, and power tools
• Ability to accurately measure and cut materials
• Ability to repeatedly lift and handle materials weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors and moving throughout a large 11-acre yard
• Strong attention to detail when pulling orders and counting inventory
• Dependable transportation and excellent attendance are essential
