Yard Coordinator

The Yard Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing logistics and operations within the yard area to ensure smooth workflow and efficient handling of materials and equipment. This position involves coordinating movements, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating communication between yard personnel and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate vehicle and equipment movements within the yard
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all yard activities
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and management
• Ensure yard safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times
• Assist in scheduling and dispatching vehicles as needed
• Handle inventory management and track material locations
• Report and resolve issues related to yard operations promptly
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize yard processes
