Yard Driver

The primary function of the Yard Driver role is to move equipment around the facility while monitoring temperatures.Job Functions:Operate yard truck to move equipment around facility.Pre-cool trailers according to the guidelines set forth in the Domestic Transportation Manual.Perform periodic yard checks to ensure loads are always maintained at proper temperatures.Maintain a good driving record and comply with all Department of Transportation standards and regulations.Report any vehicle problems and defects to the Supervisor for immediate attention.Fills out all necessary paperwork to perform job duties.
