Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Yard Driver / Hostler Ito move tractors and trailers within our yard. This position is responsible for safely positioning equipment at dock doors, staging trailers, and supporting daily yard operations.
Key Responsibilities
Move tractors and trailers within the yard to designated dock doors, staging areas, and parking locations
Perform yard checks to ensure trailers are properly positioned and secured
Conduct pre- and post-move inspections of yard equipment and report any issues
Communicate with warehouse and operations staff to prioritize trailer moves
Maintain accurate yard organization and assist with overall yard flow
Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and DOT regulations
Keep yard areas clean, orderly, and free of hazards
Job Requirements
What do you need to be qualified to drive for XGS?
Valid Class A License:
Must hold a valid Class A license in order to qualify for this position.
24 Months Experience:
If you have a minimum of 24 months experience as a yard driver, we want to hear from you!
Age Requirement:
You must be at least 23 years old to apply.
