Schedule: 7am-3:30pm; M-F - Full-Time 

Hourly Rate: $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience

Benefits: 3 weeks of PTO + medical, dental, vision and 401(k)

In this hands-on role, you will play a critical part in supporting yard and warehouse operations by safely loading, unloading, staging, and moving equipment throughout our facility. Job Summary

The Warehouse/Lot Attendant is responsible for supporting daily lot and warehouse operations through the safe loading, unloading, staging, and movement of forklifts and other material handling equipment. This position works both indoors and outdoors and requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently coordinate equipment flow throughout the facility. The ideal candidate enjoys operating equipment, working in a fast-paced environment, and contributing directly to shipping, receiving, and yard organization activities.

Essential Functions

Loading & Unloading Operations

• Safely load and unload forklifts, lift trucks, and other material handling equipment from trailers, flatbeds, and transport vehicles while following established safety procedures.

Equipment Movement & Staging

• Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport, position, stage, and organize equipment within the warehouse, yard, and designated storage areas.

Lot Support

• Maintain an organized equipment lot by arranging inventory, keeping aisles and traffic lanes clear, identifying equipment locations, and preparing units for customer pickup or transportation.

Shipping & Receiving Support

• Assist with inbound and outbound shipments by verifying equipment received, coordinating loading schedules, and ensuring equipment is properly staged for transport.

Equipment Inspection

• Perform basic visual inspections of incoming and outgoing equipment, documenting condition, identifying damage, and communicating issues to supervisors.

Inventory Accuracy

• Assist with tracking equipment locations and inventory counts to support accurate inventory records and efficient equipment retrieval.

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to all company safety policies, equipment operating procedures, and OSHA guidelines. Conduct daily equipment checks and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Facility & Yard Maintenance

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and lot environment by removing debris, identifying hazards, and ensuring loading and staging areas remain orderly.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with drivers, technicians, warehouse personnel, and supervisors to coordinate equipment movement and loading activities to support operational efficiency.

Position Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Experience

• Experience operating forklifts, lift trucks, or other material handling equipment required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, yard, or equipment handling environment strongly preferred.
• Experience loading and unloading equipment from trailers or transport vehicles is a plus.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's license is required. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Ability to safely work in both indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb on and off equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Strong attention to safety and equipment handling practices.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
• Basic communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adapt to changing operational priorities.
