Responsibilities:
This position assists workers engaged in fabrication of structural or sheet metal products by performing the following duties: - This position performs the following duties:
- Must work well with others in a year-round outdoor environment.
- Operate strapping tools safely and understand banding procedure in our pull-ticket area (breaking from bulk skids).
- Band/strap finished product to protect the material and have straight, square, tight skids after banding.
- Put all labels on straight, neatly, and in their proper location.
- Spray paint color coding by gauge.
- Keep pull-ticket area clean and organized every day.
- The ability to understand product/item codes, product identification, and efficient operations so that you can be ready to move to forklift training and loading training
- Performs other routine duties
- Observes Safety and Standard Operating Procedures
- Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses equipment and materials properly
- Forklift training completed after 30 days of training
Qualifications
- Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and reach with hands and arms.
- Able to perform basic math (adding, subtracting) and be able to read a ruler.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to work outdoors year round
- Forklift experience a plus
Starting rate is $18.50 per hour
Within this range, individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications relative to the job requirements. Base pay information is aligned with market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.

Work Hours: 7:00 PM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
