Location: Catoosa, OK Pay: $17.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
HireCall is currently seeking a dependable Yard Hand for a busy lumber and building materials facility in Catoosa, OK.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and assisting with inventory and customer service functions. Candidates must have previous forklift experience and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Responsibilities:
Cut and package materials according to customer and company specifications
Load customer vehicles and company delivery trucks safely and efficiently
Assist with unloading materials from company delivery vehicles
Maintain accurate inventory counts and material organization
Inspect incoming materials for quantity and condition
Keep the lumber yard and warehouse clean, organized, and free of debris
Operate forklifts and other company equipment safely and efficiently
Load, unload, stock, and pull merchandise as needed
Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
Report all accidents and incidents immediately to management and complete required documentation
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Previous forklift experience required
Ability to accurately read a tape measure to the 1/32"
Experience working in a lumber yard, warehouse, building materials, or related industry preferred
Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
Customer-focused attitude with good communication skills
Safety-conscious mindset
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
