Yard Helper

Our client, a well-established equipment company in Lakeland, FL is seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Helper to join their team. This position supports day-to-day yard operations, equipment organization, and general labor tasks across the facility. Ideal candidates enjoy hands-on work and are comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with organizing, staging, and maintaining equipment and materials in the yard
• Safely operate forklifts to maneuver product throughout the yard

• Clean, pressure wash, and prepare equipment for service or customer pickup

• Perform basic painting and touch-ups on equipment as needed

• Load and unload tools, machinery, and materials

• Assist technicians or operators as needed

• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Ability to perform needle scaling as needed

Qualifications

• Previous general labor, warehouse, yard, or construction experience required
• Previous forklift experience required

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision

• Willingness to learn and support team tasks as needed
• Previous experience in hydraulics preferred
