Long-Term Temporary Yard Porter - 30 Hours / wk

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday & Tuesday: 1 pm to 9 pm
Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 5:30 am to 1 pm
A well-established and secure RV storage facility in Garden Grove is looking for a temporary Part-Time Yard Porter to assist during a long-term medical leave. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working outdoors in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Greet visitors, assist with RV maneuvering, and provide friendly, helpful service.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the grounds clean and organized - sweep, remove trash, and handle light upkeep.
- Security Monitoring: Keep an eye on the property, check locks, and report any suspicious activity.
- Log Activity: Record arrivals, departures, and any incidents or maintenance needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to safely operate equipment (e.g., forklift - training can be provided)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in outdoor conditions
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Availability to work early mornings and weekends
Working Conditions
This position is outdoor-based, rain or shine. Applicants should be physically capable and comfortable in a hands-on, active role.

This is a temporary position to help cover a long-term medical leave. While there may be future opportunities, this role is currently expected to last for the duration of the employee's leave.
