Yard/Pre-Cast Worker

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17-$20.00 per hour

Duties:

• Safely and efficiently operate a rubber tire front end loader to lift, transport, and load bulk aggregate materials to and from various areas.
• Keep the loaded clean both inside and outside.
• Ensure that the mixer truck washdown area and other areas of the yard and kept clean and free of debris.
• Clean and maintain mixer truck washout pits in accordance with company procedures.
• Properly keep clean and maintain general exterior yard areas and plant premises with sweeping, litter and debris removal, maintaining lawns and landscaping areas
• Prepare forms for precast block production.  Strip forms once block is made.
• Produce other precast products as required such as inlet boxes, tanks, benches, etc.
• Verify the amount of aggregate materials stored and ensure adequate supply is maintained.
• Unload inbound material and maintain the bulk material stockpiles.
• Assist with other tasks around the plant area as requested by Plant Manager.
• Assist customers as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, lift, carry, and tote up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, climb, and twist.
• Must be able to work inside and outside in varied weather conditions.
• Must be 18 years old with valid driver's license
