YARD SWITCHER

Start your new career as a Yard Switcher with MAU at Michelin in Lexington, SC. As a Yard Switcher, you will safely operate yard equipment to move trailers and materials throughout the facility while supporting shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer trucking experience
• Valid CDL in good standing that meets state and federal requirements
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety, productivity, and attendance standards

What You'll Do as a Yard Switcher:

• Operate powered industrial equipment, including a yard dog or day cab
• Move trailers and equipment throughout the facility yard
• Load, secure, and unload cargo as needed
• Maintain communication with site personnel regarding pickup instructions and schedule changes
• Assist team members with loading tires as required by customer needs
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and on time
• Learn new processes and responsibilities within a reasonable timeframe
• Maintain attendance standards in accordance with company policy
• Provide excellent customer service and work collaboratively with team members
• Perform additional duties as assigned
