Yard Utility -Columbus

Responsibilities:

• Pull and prepare customer orders
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift
• Receive, stock, and organize inventory
• Assist customers in the yard and over the phone
• Enter orders and coordinate freight pickups
• Notify customers when orders are ready
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard, dock, and garage
• Perform grounds maintenance including mowing, snow removal, and debris cleanup
• Report equipment repair needs and supply shortages
• Assist with office duties, quotes, and order processing as needed
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Yard Manager

Qualifications:

• Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain certification)
• Customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable attendance and commitment to safety
