About the Opportunity

As a Yard Utility Worker at EMR, you'll play a key role in our daily yard operations at our Green Isle site. In this role, you'll support general yard upkeep and assist with a variety of yard tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Move, sort and handle scrap metal and materials
• Operate equipment to load and unload materials from trucks, trailers and containers
• Assist with basic material processing, including dismantling small components and collecting loose material
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard
• Greet and assist customers with unloading materials

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Ability to operate equipment safely
• Ability to lift and handle 50 pounds
• Excellent customer service skills

Compensation and Benefits

• Monday - Friday, no nights or weekends
• $20+ per hour, full-time, year-round
